Mexican authorities have detained Anthony Emilio 'N' and Pablo 'N', both U.S. citizens who have outstanding arrest warrants issued by authorities in the state of Pennsylvania, USA, for criminal conspiracy and corrupt organizations. In a statement, the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC) reported that both individuals were arrested in Mexico City. Official sources confirmed to the EFE news agency that the detainees were identified as 43-year-old Anthony Emilio Troncoso and 40-year-old Pablo Correa Montoya, both U.S. citizens.

Both individuals have active arrest warrants for criminal conspiracy and corrupt organizations, respectively, issued by authorities in the state of Pennsylvania, USA. According to sources, Troncoso is linked to organized crime and money laundering. It is also known that he faces 15 charges for serious crimes, including criminal conspiracy for illicit gain, robbery, fraud, falsification of records, and vehicle title laundering, with operations in three U.S. counties.

While Pablo Correa Montoya is one of his accomplices in vehicle fraud schemes.

According to the SSPC, Troncoso was detained in the Cuauhtémoc borough of Mexico City; while Montoya was arrested in the Magdalena Contreras borough in the southwest of the city.

"Both individuals were informed of their legal rights and were presented before the INM (National Institute of Migration), where protocols for their deportation will continue, within the framework of international cooperation mechanisms," the statement noted.

The operation involved elements from the SSPC, the Secretariats of National Defense (Sedena), Navy (Semar), the Attorney General's Office (FGR), the National Guard (GN), along with the INM.

The Mexican government has stated since February that, thanks to the 'Northern Border Operation'—agreed upon with U.S. President Donald Trump to avoid tariffs on Mexico—more than 8,568 people have been arrested and nearly 107 tons of drugs have been seized, including 494 kilograms of fentanyl.
